Founded in 1980, Impact Photos is an international picture agency specializing in high quality worldwide reportage and travel images.

The emphasis of the library is on real people in real situations. Our images touch on every aspect of people's lives around the globe: agriculture, education, health, industry, commerce, the environment, transport, social issues, religion, politics and war.

Backing this up is an extensive collection of more generic travel images - providing the backdrop against which people's lives are played out.

Although our library covers the whole world we have particularly strong coverage of Asia and the developing world.

Impact is also the UK agent for Yann Arthus-Bertrand's Earth From The Air images - a unique collection of spectacular aerial images that acts as an outstanding visual testimony to the world we live in today.

Impact's digital collection - available as hi-res scans through this website - is backed up by an extensive library of transparencies which are available in analogue format or which can be scanned and sent digitally at your request.
